Parson's Green Nursery are committed to providing an outstanding Level of care and education for all children. We have a large airy ground floor baby room which holds a maximum of 12 children at anyone time, we always have a minimum of 1 member of staff to 3 children and aim to usually have more than this. We have a dedicated cot room which is separate to the play room, in which each child has a designated cot with clean linen daily. We also have laundry facilities on the premises to help us keep our babies clean and comfortable. Healthy fresh foods are delivered every day from our external caterers based in sussex and all our fruit and vegetable purees are organic. We fully support breast feeding mothers and will always work with you to ensure the best for your child. According to OFSTED Guidance, our babies go for a daily walk, to ensure they get regular fresh air and exposure to a range of different stimulus, we are fortunate to be located in close proximity to Hurlingham Park, South Park and Bishops Park which the babies especially enjoy visiting during the summer months.

Settling In: We offer three free settle sessions when your child joins, we recognise this is a big step and all children are different and so we base children's transitions and settles around individual children's needs and we will discuss this with you on enrolment.

Key Workers: On joining Parson's Green Nursery your baby will be allocated a Key Worker, this can be based on who your child forms a Natural bond with during their settle sessions. Their Key worker

Communication with parents:  All parents receive daily communication via our nursery app of how your child is doing at nursery. You will receive updates when they go to sleep, wake up, have their nappy changed, when and how much they eat as well as photos and videos of activities they take part in. We encourage parents to also use our direct messaging facility to communicate directly with their child’s key worker.

Curriculum: We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum for all children, and using our specially developed Learning and Development tracker, we monitor children's learning and development. We plan individually for all children through developing next steps based on observations made my staff. We always ensure that babies are provided with a wide range of interesting activities and experiences to scaffold their development in all areas of learning.

Extra Curricular: We have a specialist Music teacher who comes in to sing and play the guitar to babies every Thursday Morning. Older babies are encouraged to begin dancing and vocalising to music as experimenting with musical instruments and joining in action songs.
